We provide an opportunity for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players to participate year round in field hockey opportunities. Our goal is to encourage players to discover field hockey – see what a great game it is and how much fun it can be to play in a social, supportive, and competitive atmosphere.

About Us

In the early 1990’s Linda Saubier started Rising Sun Area Field Hockey Club as a training program for youth field hockey players in and around Cecil County, Maryland. In 2016 Linda Saubier was looking to retire and she began the transition of turning over the club to Katie Keyes and Julie Owens, two of her former players.
